cambio CarSharing ist Partner für Carsharing in Future Living® Berlin
Wir freuen uns sehr, seit März 2024 mit Cambio einen neuen Partner für das Carsharing in Future Living® Berlin gewonnen zu haben.
cambio CarSharing wurde 2000 als Zusammenschluss verschiedener CarSharing-Pioniere gegründet. Mit dem Ziel, mehr Platz für Menschen in der Stadt zu schaffen, bietet cambio in Deutschland und Belgien stationsbasiertes CarSharing. Ein cambio-Auto ersetzt zahlreiche private Pkw und ist täglich im Durchschnitt sechs bis acht Stunden unterwegs. Im Gegensatz dazu steht ein privates Fahrzeug im Durchschnitt ganze 23 Stunden am Tag ungenutzt auf der Straße.
Die Wurzeln des Unternehmens liegen in der Umweltbewegung. Bereits in den 90er Jahren starteten Menschen aus Aachen, Bremen und Köln die gemeinschaftliche Nutzung von Fahrzeugen. cambio ist ein unabhängiges Unternehmen und befindet sich überwiegend in Besitz von Kund:innen und Mitarbeitenden.
Als CarSharing-Anbieter versteht sich cambio als Teil des Umweltverbunds mit ÖPNV und Radverkehr und bietet mit über 5.300 Fahrzeugen klimafreundliche Mobilität. Die Flotte besteht aus spritsparenden Fahrzeugen und einem wachsenden Anteil an Elektroautos, die mit 100 Prozent Ökostrom fahren. Für die umweltschonende Verkehrsdienstleistung wird cambio seit 2010 mit dem Blauen Engel ausgezeichnet.

We are delighted to have gained Cambio as a new partner for car sharing in Future Living® Berlin since March 2024.
cambio CarSharing was founded in 2000 as a merger of various car sharing pioneers. With the aim of creating more space for people in the city, cambio offers station-based car sharing in Germany and Belgium. A cambio car replaces numerous private cars and is on the road for an average of six to eight hours a day. In contrast, a private vehicle is on the road unused for an average of 23 hours a day.
The company’s roots lie in the environmental movement. Back in the 1990s, people from Aachen, Bremen and Cologne started sharing vehicles. cambio is an independent company and is predominantly owned by customers and employees.
As a car sharing provider, cambio sees itself as part of the environmental network with public transport and cycling and offers climate-friendly mobility with over 5,300 vehicles. The fleet consists of fuel-efficient vehicles and a growing proportion of electric cars that run on 100 percent green electricity. Since 2010, cambio has been awarded the Blue Angel for its environmentally friendly transportation services.
