Steuerungsgruppe für KI-Normungs-Roadmap beim DIN gegründet
Am 1. August haben führende Köpfe aus Wirtschaft, Politik, Wissenschaft und Vertreter der Zivilgesellschaft gemeinsam mit dem Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) und dem Deutschen Institut für Normung (DIN) in Berlin eine Steuerungsgruppe gegründet und damit den Weg für den weiteren Ausbau des KI-Standortes Deutschland geebnet.
Die RoadMap soll einen Handlungsrahmen für KI geben. Dazu gehört u.a. ein genauer Überblick darüber, wo Normen und Standards die Anwendung Künstlicher Intelligenz noch besser unterstützen können und müssen. Das Ziel ist, Qualität von KI sicherzustellen.
Bereits am 16. Oktober 2019 findet die Auftaktveranstaltung zur inhaltlichen Erarbeitung der Roadmap im Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) in Berlin statt, auf welcher der Leiter der Steuerungsgruppe, Professor Wahlster, einen der Impulsvorträge halten wird und die Arbeitsgruppen für Grundlagen und Anwendungsgebiete konstituiert werden sollen.

On 1 August, leading figures from business, politics, science and representatives of civil society, together with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the German Institute for Standardization (DIN), founded a steering group in Berlin, paving the way for further expansion of the AI site Germany.
The RoadMap should provide a framework for AI. This includes a detailed overview of where standards can and should better support the application of artificial intelligence. The goal is to ensure quality of AI.
Already on October 16, 2019, the kick-off event for the content development of the roadmap will take place in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in Berlin, where the head of the Steering Group, Professor Wahlster, will give keynote speeches and the working groups for foundations and areas of application will be constituted should.
